"App Standby Buckets" messing with qfile

Yay Android 9 and App Standby Buckets processing (Can you hear my sarcasm?). There is no longer a way to enable background apps from being put to sleep. I just found this is stopping my pictures from being backed up to my nas via qfile.

From what I read, you either need to open the app to crank up the priority rating of the app, or do something with push notifications to keep the app awake. Is qnap working on a way to fix this? Maybe even create a service on the nas to send push notifications to keep qfile and others alive?
