Hi,
I try to connect to a iSCSI Lun under Windows. I always get an "Authentification failure". If I enable "clustering access to the..." it works.
iSCSI Target with a mapped LUN -> No Chap->image file->Thick prov
dmegs says: "[102989.460769] Target: iqn.xxxxxx is connected by other initiator, login rejected"
But there isn't any other active connection. The Web GUI also says that there aren't any iSCSI connections.
Can it be, that some old informations are "cached" or anything else?
Any clue how that can fixed?
QNAP TS-431X and TS 831X
Firmware: 4.3.4.0486
Thanks
Frank

Re: Authentification failure
Delete the target and create a new one.
Then reattach the LUN.
Otherwise it's digging around in ISCSI.conf

Re: Authentification failure
Can you connect LAN direct to host without switch and test again. You will then connect on 169.x.x.x address.
This will prove if something else on the LAN is trying to connect.
This command can be used to check the status of iSCSI targets:
# dmesg | tail
