What accounts for some users having to enter the username in user\domain format and others only needing to enter the username? I have four users backing up to a TS469 using NetBak some have to enter the user name in the domain\user format and stipulate the domain as the qnap name. While others simple add the user name and are authenticated.
The network is on a domain but the qnap has not joined this domain. All stations are domain users. Wondering if it has something to do with NTLM on the station needing explicit domain reference
