Samba firmware 4.5.1.1461 ???

Hi everyone, firmware 4.5.1.1461 build 20201020 have fixed samba or more error on this version ?

according to the release notes (there is a dedicated thread for that firmware)...the major change of that version, was to update the changelog with all the issues present

so better stick to 4.3.x for now

am so scared qnap developer , i thing firmware 4.4.3 is for best now. but vulnerability not safe this way.

I have tried both
4.5.1.1461 and 4.5.1.1465

Copy files from windows 10 (samba) works but when copy from the NAS and back again I get a permission error and the file on the QNAP share gets overwritten.
The resulting file gets nulled (0 byte)

Running 4.5.1.1465 and recreating the share does not work after reboot of the NAS.

Samba is broken and my customer lost data because of this. He is looking for another brand. Is there no production test from QNAP? This should not happen on a NAS solution at all on production firmwares.
