Windows 7 AD users cannot see/map folders

Hi, I seem to be having the same problem others have reported, using 239 pro, two fresh install windows 64 ultimate PCs can't see or map the QNAP shares. Have upgraded firmware to 3.1.2 Build 1014T, have done the control panel/administrative tools/local security policy fix per the instructions on this site, no luck. QNAP can login to Win2003 AD, can see the AD groups, users, etc. but the W7 machines still can't see/map the shares. XP machine has no problem mapping, and Win2003 server can browse the QNAPs shares. Any ideas? Thanks.
