no access to shared folder for domain users

Post by wasyl@wasyl.com.pl » Thu May 21, 2020 12:11 am

Hello

I am new to the forum. My Qnap is TS-253Be with QTS 4.4.2.1302
After firmware upgrade to the newest version on Thursday 14.05 all domain users including administrator lost access to all shared folders on Qnap both via SMB and also via File Station.
Qnap is the domain controller. Users can log in to their workstations without any problem, I can see it in logs, but they are not allowed to access files nor folders on Qnap.
I did not change anything in configuration except firmware upgrade.
No any problems in event viewer either.
Local admin has access to all folders.
Downgrade to previous version of firmware does not help.
Restore of AD backup does not help.
Setting new folders permission does not help.
Error message: You do not have sufficient access rights or folder is read only.
Any idea please?

Update.
I restored access rights assigning them for users instead of user groups. And it works. However setting them to user groups is more efficient. And it does not work.
