Excuse me for not having found an answer here and if this question has been asked before...
I wonder if it is at all possible to print from an IOS device which is connected to the home network (an internet router providing the WiFi), and the printer is connected to a QNAP TS-451+ via cable to the same router?
Thus, IOS WiFi -> Router -> Cable/QNAP/USB-Printer.
The IOS device does not find any AirPrinter.
The printer is a HP LaserJet 1012 and it does not support AirPrint.
But, QNAP has found the printer and it is enabled and Bonjour is ticked, so it shows up on a mac which is connected via cable to the network.
So, IOS on the network does not see the printer and computers on the LAN does see the printer, and printing works just fine.
