Qsyncs power consumption is too high

Post by LeonHerrmann » Thu Jun 09, 2016 12:58 am

Today i noticed that Qsync (Version 2.0.1.0331) has an abnormally high power consumption for a sync tool. I work on a 2013 Macbook Pro Retina 13" with the latest El Capitan and Qsync is just draining my battery. It eats up more energy than Safari with multiple tabs open and in comparison to Dropbox or GoogleDrive it just isn't acceptable.

Is this just a problem with my Mac and Qsync or does anynone else has the same problem?
What should i do?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hi
I noticed the same: high power consumption of the Mac Qsync client 3.5.0.0612. It goes up until 300 and more (actual its near 100 but much higher than all other applications. Also higher as other sync tools like Nextcloud.
Anyone experiencing the same? Found a solution?
Thank you.
