Can't mount qnap share as RW on nfs (only RO works)

Post by fribse » Wed May 06, 2020 10:58 pm

I have set up a seperate nuc for doing my plex. I also have the live tv / dvr function active, so I would like for it to write to the plex storage.
At first I had et up the library as ro, and that has worked fine.
Now I'm trying to change it to rw
In QTS I've changed the option for the share to read/write
I've also changed the mount line on the NUC to /nfs/film nfs rw,nosuid, soft 0 0
or /nfs/film nfs defaults 0 0
But it just tells me that the server denied access.
As soon as I change it to ro,nosuid, soft it works again.
What to do?

NO, RAID is NOT backup - Use RAID-Certified 24x7 drives for raid
Make automatic backup of ALL MySQL databases

NAS-659 Pro II (3 GB Ram), Raid1, Survailance station, local backup destination + NAS-853A (16 GB Ram), Virtualization Station, Plex, iDrive
Network: Fritz!Box 7560 + 24p SG200 + 2x8p SG200 + 8p POE EdgeCore + 300/300 mbit Internet
