TS-230 - HDD never spin down

Post by Maetel » Thu Aug 06, 2020 6:32 pm

Hi guys, I have a QNAP TS-230 (with last firmware atm) with 2 WD RED 4To in Raid1 and I notice that them never spin down so I found the way to get script on QNAP Wiki but to be honest I don't really understand the results since I'm new to NAS World.

Here are the results :

Code: Select all

Stop klogd.sh daemon... Done
Turn off/on VM block_dump & Clean dmesg

Can you please help me to understand and resolve the issue ?

Thank you in advance.
